So, what exactly is a humanist ceremony?

Humanism is a philosophy built on human experience, compassion, and connection, with no religious doctrine attached. A humanist wedding ceremony puts the two of you front and centre. A ceremony crafted entirely around your relationship, your values, and the story only you two could tell.

When you book me as your celebrant, we spend real time together: chatting, laughing, and getting properly acquainted so I can learn what makes you you. What were you doing when you first met? The silly in-jokes. The moment you both knew. I weave it all into something that will make you and your guests lean forward and feel the moment.

How personal can it really get?

As personal as you wish. Write your own vows. Include your children, your dogs, your late grandmother's favourite poem. Choose a Celtic handfasting — a beautiful, ancient tradition with deep roots right here in Wales. Add a unity ritual. Have a friend perform a reading. Pick any music you love, from Fleetwood Mac to Florence and the Machine.
